Mini-Segways Gain Popularity with UGA Athletes

By Sammy O’Brien

Mini-segways are appearing all over UGA’s campus. Athletes have taken to the mini-devices most fondly and even use them to get to class and practice.

Senior guard Tiaria Griffin rides her mini-segway all over campus to get to class fast and to get to practice on time. Griffin claims she bought the device because she initially hates walking. Now, she doesn’t leave her dorm without it.
