New Trend Among UGA Students Matching Selfies with Famous Art

Google’s Arts and Culture app matches your face to a piece of famous artwork. This started a new trend among UGA’s students.

Social media is filled with people trying out the new feature. Our newsroom had a little fun of its own with the app.

The app’s description on iTunes says it’s meant to give users a chance to “discover collections curated by experts.”

Here’s how it works:

You first download the app from iTunes or Google Play.

Then you scroll down the home page to the “Is your portrait in a museum” feature.

Click “Get Started,” and take your selfie. The feature is only available in certain regions.
