Athens, GA- The “Free Gurley” t-shirt operation is officially out of business. The Collegiate Licensing Company, Legal Affairs Office at UGA, and assistant athletic director Alan Thomas have sent cease and desist letters to those selling non-trademarked merchandise, such as the t-shirts that say “Free Gurley”. Senior Business Management major Peyton Bennett has been selling some shirts for 15 dollars. When the cease and desist letters came in, Bennett complied immediately.
