Pamela Whitten to Stay at UGA

University of Georgia’s Provost, Pamela Whitten, will stay at UGA. Whitten was elected as one of four finalists for the Iowa State University Presidency.

The new Iowa State President will be Wendy Wintersteen, who was the dean of Iowa State’s agricultural college for over ten years.

Whitten came to the University of Georgia in 2014. Her position requires her to look after all teaching and research at the university. Whitten plans to stay UGA’s senior vice president for academic affairs and provost until further notice.
