PM Web Update 10/30/13

Athens, GA–We’re here at the Special Collections Library which is quiet now, but is guaranteed to be filled with some big opinions around 6:00PM tonight.

Georgia Law Professors are hosting a World Café style discussion reopening the landmark verdict of Roe vs. Wade.

It’s all part of an ongoing exhibit about 1973 called “It was a Big Year.” There will be a discussion about the controversial verdict followed by some light refreshments from 6:00-8:00PM.

For our top story, reporter Cory James will tell you why Fowler Elementary was put into lockdown yesterday.

We’ll also speak to a team of Athens’ paranormal investigators–and St. Simons’ Police are doing things very differently for Friday’s beach party –we’ll tell you what, tonight at 5:00PM.
