Snow Day Means Bar Hopping for Some College Students

The night got later and the weather got colder, but bars still filled up with University of Georgia students last night. Classes at UGA are cancelled after 1:30 p.m. today. That means that some students don’t have class at all. They took to downtown to celebrate their good luck and warm up with a few drinks.

Even freezing temperatures couldn’t keep one UGA senior at home.

Bouncers have to stay out in the cold all night. One bouncer says he picked up a few tricks from the snow week in Athens last year.
