The World Roma Festival or Khamoro has been a Romani tradition in Prague since 2000. The festival takes place over multiple days in May, and on Friday, May 31, 2024, the Khamoro celebration included a parade from Wenceslas Square to Old Time Square in Prague. A group of young adults led the parade through the streets carrying multiple flags, small groups of adults and children followed behind, chanting and twirling their colorful dresses and playing musical instruments.
