ATHENS- The UGA softball team will try to recover from two rough games this weekend when they play Georgia State on Wednesday. The Lady Bulldogs dropped both games against Florida on Saturday. The teams didn’t just face each other this weekend. They also battled the weather. The teams played back to back on Saturday because of the rain cancellations.
Florida jumped out to an early lead in both games. Georgia’s bats almost brought them back in each game. However, the Gators closed out both games in the seventh inning.
The team will finish up their regular season this weekend at Kentucky.
