Tennis:
The UGA men’s tennis team will be facing off against Eastern Tennessee State University today at 2:30pm. The Georgia dogs stepped out of their SEC play schedule to play this match.
Head Coach Manuel Diaz says, “This group is one that has a great blend of new players and veterans. It’s been a tremendous joy to see our leadership this year, our team captains… trying to lead from the heart.”
“They know the ropes, they’ve been through championship runs, and they know what it takes and so they’ve been able to influence, along with the coaches, some of our younger players.”
The bulldogs hope to achieve a repeat performance of the 7-0 sweep of ETSU they played last year. If the rain continues, the matches will be moved inside to the four indoor courts at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
