Athens- Homes are still suffering power outages in Northeast Georgia. In Jackson County alone, more than fifteen-thousand homes were without power earlier this morning.  There were freezing conditions, pouring rain, partlal sleet, and high powered winds led to more than one-hundred and fifty power lines down within Jackson County. County employees and volunteers cleaned up debris.
