Athens, GA –  A second bond hearing is set for tomorrow morning for a man facing child pornography charges, according to the Athens-Clarke County Police Department. This morning, a judge denied bond for Athens resident Rodney Cook who was charged with child pornography. 

Athens, GA – “Let’s talk about consent.” This is the focus of Pillow Talk: Conversations about Consent, an effort to raise awareness for sexual assault. The event is today in Tate Plaza at the University of Georgia.

Athens, GA – Athens has the lowest jobless rate in the state of Georgia, according to a new report from the Georgia Department of Labor. The jobless rate was 5.7 percent for September, a decrease from 6.3 percent in August.
