UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital to Offer Eye Exams To Assistance Animals

ATHENS- The American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists is offering its annual Animal Eye Exam services for all registered service animals throughout the month of May. The University of Georgia Veterinary Teaching Hospital and the Animal Eye Care Clinic (located at 5 points in Athens) have teamed up to aid volunteer services to all service animals in the Athens region. Service Animals can include guide, handicapped assistance, detection, military, search and rescue and registered therapy animals. Registration for the event can be done online at www. ACVOeyeexam.org, and ends April 30th.
