Grady Newsource Explains: Banned Books Week

Sept. 27- Oct. 3 is Banned Books Week, hosted by the American Library Association. Libraries across the country host events all week to encourage the freedom of reading. The Madison County Library put the books they have that are banned on display for the week for readers to check out. You can see a list of former and currently challenged books here. Jennifer Ivey, who is in charge of Youth Services, explains what this week is all about.
