Grady Newsource Explains: Resources for Coping with Sexual Assault

The reports listed below from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (G.B.I) show that numbers for sexual assault have risen, but incidents are underreported. The time frame between reporting and the actual incident are sometimes farther apart.

Liz Prince, Associate Director of the UGA Health Center, says that this is because victims report when they are ready.  If family, a friend, or you yourself has been a victim of sexual assault the following video provides an overview of resources for victims coping with assault.
