Black, Educated and Single: Why Black Love Matters

Sixty percent of educated black women, ages 25-34 have never been married. That’s almost double the number of white women who are married in that age group.

The reasons for these declining numbers are complex and deeply rooted in African-American history. In this 6-part series, reporter Kalyn Wilson investigates this trend by speaking with undergraduate students who hope these trends come to an end.
