The search is on!

Athens-Clarke County is currently searching for someone to donate a tree that will be used as the community Christmas tree. The city will display the tree in front of City Hall during the month of December.

  • The tree needs to be a cedar.
  • Needs to be at 35 feet tall.
  • Needs to be about 20 feet in diameter.
  • Needs to be symmetrical with a single trunk.

Once it is found, the Athens-Clarke Landscape Management Division will handle the removal and transportation of the tree with no cost to the donor.
