A Look Into An Oconee County Dispatcher’s Life

WATKINSVILLE, GA | Her childhood consisted of waking up in the middle of the night, packing into the car, and handing out water to firefighters or lending a helping hand in any way during fire emergencies.

Beth Farrington comes from a family that has dedicated their lives to serve their community. Her father, brother, husband, mother, father-in law and many members of her family are all involved some way in a position within the county. Firefighters, first responders, EMTs, dispatchers, you name it and Beth and her family do it.

Today, Beth is a dispatcher for the Oconee County Sheriff’s office.
