One school in Jackson County is offering an opportunity for students to get their life back on track. Foothills Education Charter High School is like a traditional high school, but with non traditional settings. The students come in from 4-8 Monday through Friday and work at their own pace to receive their high school diploma. Some of the students have obstacles others don’t, including a baby. 18-year-old Autumn Puckett is a new mom and has to balance between taking care of her child and completing her schoolwork.
