Athens Clarke County School District to Hold Public Forum

Athens, GA — Athens Clarke County School District will hold a public forum Thursday to discuss keeping students in the classroom and recent disciplinary issues.

The Athens-Clarke County community will have the opportunity to voice possible solutions about both of the issues to the district school board.

This forum comes after the community voiced concerns during an emergency Parent-Teacher Organization meeting about the transparency of the school board after police charged a Cedar Shoals High School student with rape and other recent disciplinary issues.
