Athens, Ga.— The protest began shorty after 2:30pm Thursday afternoon. Protesters stood in silence for over an hour holding signs.
The BAC president says that their next step is to arrange meetings between her, other student group leaders, and the administration to talk about changing the cultural climate at UGA.
Grady Newsource called the president’s office and were referred to Tom Jackson, the Vice President of UGA Public Affairs. He says that the President stand shy the statement he released yesterday afternoon. He says a criminal investigation is underway.
