‘Bachelor’ TV star to ‘Rock the Grind’

“The Bachelor” TV show’s Josh Murray will make his way to Athens Wednesday night to host Sigma Delta Tau’s Greek Grind. This year’s dance competition between the sororities at UGA will have a “rock-and-roll” theme.

SDT Greek Grind Coordinator Rebecca Friedman said they chose Murray to host the competition because of his stage presence. The 17 teams will compete beginning at 8:30 p.m. at the Classic Center in downtown Athens.

This is the competition’s 11th year. Last year, the event raised over $76,000 for Prevent Child Abuse America, SDT’s national philanthropy.

Doors open at 7 p.m. For more information go to SDT’s website.
