Barrow County’s new plan to make Barrow County safer

Athens, GA– Barrow County Board of Commissioners will implement a new 911 software which officials say will make the county safer.  It will allow sheriffs and emergency services to share the same computer system. The Board of Commissioners approved a $200,000 budget to improve the software and will meet with the Barrow County 911 Advisory Board tomorrow to discuss more details.
