Superstar Beyonce paid tribute to the late Atlanta Rapper Shawty Lo last night during her concert. She changed her set list to include a remix of his song “They Know” and her song “Diva”. She delivered an intricate hip hop piece, and the crowd roared in favor of the tribute. Beyonce pointed up towards the sky at the end of the dance.
Beyonce is not the only celebrity that has honored the star. Rap Artist Lil’ Kim, French Montana, Alyssa Milano, and more tribute the star via social media posts.
Shawty Lo died in a car crash on September 21, 2016. His manager confirmed this news via Shawty Lo’s twitter page. The funeral will be held at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church early October.
