How superstitious are you? In the spirit of Halloween, the Athens Humane Society is putting black cats up for adoption at half the normal price. The organization is encouraging people to adopt black cats, breaking the stereotype that they are unlucky.
The promotion runs through the end of October and there are several adoption options.
