Early voting in Athens has seen high turn outs in its first week. Find the numbers from your county below:

Athens-Clarke County: 650 to 740 people.

Barrow County: 650 to 700 people.

Jackson County: reported turn out in the 600’s

Oconee County: 520 to 580 people.

Madison County: 250 to 360 people.

 

Monica Franklin, Barrow County Elections Supervisor, said twice as many people came out to vote early this week in Barrow County than in the first week of early voting in 2012.

Teresa Hilburn with the Madison County Board of Elections said that while turn out in Madison County has been hovering around 300 a day, they had 250 people by 2PM and predict a new record for the week by 5PM.
