Bulldog Urgent Care Physician Assistant, Jim Callis shares his expert advice on allergy season.

Your sniffles may be caused by allergies rather than the flu.

Earlier this morning Reporter Sabrina Burse spoke with Bulldog Urgent Care Physician Assistant, Jim Callis. Callis shared his expert advice on how to deal with allergies and some common misconceptions.

Pollen in the air could be the culprit of your sniffles. Remedies include topical creams, oral pills, and injections. The health care professional decides which treatment is best based on the severity of the allergy.

Depending on the region you live in, allergies could be more severe. Callis says with the rainy weather in Georgia, your allergies may feel relieved initially, but the plants and flowers could be even stronger with pollen the next day.

Tune into our broadcast at 5 p.m. to learn more on the story.
