According to Athens Clarke County Police, shots were fired last night in the Bethel Homes area behind the downtown district. Police are still looking for the person responsible today. No one was shot in the incident. We’ll have updates about this case to come.
It is the last day of voting for the SGA election and voting closes today at 5pm. The results-barring a runoff will be announced at 5:30pm at the Flagpole at Tate. The winning ticket will be SGA’s 29th administration and will be inaugurated at the Chapel on April 18, 2016 at 6pm. Barrow County Schools was hit by a cyber attack on Tuesday morning. This attack was similar to the attack on the University of Georgia on Sunday. Both the University of Georgia and Barrow County schools use the same internet provider.
