Georgia Public Health Officials Inform Schools How To Prepare for Coronavirus

Gov. Brian Kemp confirmed earlier this week Georgia’s first two cases of Coronavirus, involving residents of Fulton County. The Georgia Department of Public Health has put together a document informing schools and universities about preventive measures they should take to prepare for Coronavirus.

These are the main takeaways:

  1.     Schools and universities should increase education about respiratory hygiene
  2.     Schools and universities should encourage routine surface cleaning
  3.     Schools and universities should have supplies on hand for staff and students (masks, soap, paper towels, tissues, hand sanitizers and trash baskets)
