Governor Deal’s HDIC Workplace Initiative

Athens, GA –  The numbers are in and Georgia is ranked last in the nation for unemployment rates… again. The unemployement rate in Georgia dropped from 7.9 to 8.1 percent which is still the highest in the nation. Six different local companies along with state leaders and secondary education representatives from the university system and technical schools met today to discuss future of jobs in Georgia. Reporter Krissy Robinson tells how these initiatives will unfold.
