It’s not too late to get involved in this year’s election and cast your vote. For people in Georgia, today is the last day for residents to register to vote. Here’s everything you need to know:
How to know if you’re registered:
Head to the Georgia Secretary of State website to check your my voter page account. To login, just enter your name, county and date of birth. Once logging in, you will be able to find your registration status.
How to register online or by mail:
If you still need to register, Google has put together step by step instructions to register online, by mail and in person.
- To register online you need a Georgia driver’s license or a state-issued ID card, and the deadline is midnight tonight.
- To register by mail, print this form and mail it to the Secretary of State’s office. It must be postmarked by today to be eligible.
- To register in person, find a local office in your area.
Early voting starts in less that six days. Starting Monday, October 17th, you will be able to cast your ballot for the presidential, state and local races.
