Morning Wrap 8/28

50 years ago the March on Washington happened and Martin Luther King delivered the famous “I Have a Dream Speech.” Our reporters are out covering multiple stories on how civil rights have impacted Athens.

Demolition continues at the Oconee Street United Methodist Church this morning. The church was destroyed when it caught fire in April. We have reporters on the scene and will have updated information and video throughout the day.

A Fall Activities Fair is taking place today at Tate now until 3 p.m.This is an opportunity for UGA students to learn more about the organizations on campus. We will be reporting more on the progress of this fair this afternoon.
