ATHENS, Ga- IHop is celebrating it’s tenth annual National Pancake Day. Customers are lined up to fill up with a free short stack of buttermilk, melt-in-your mouth goodness.

To date: the National Pancake Day has raised a whopping $16 million dollars since primarily for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and smaller amounts going to other charities like Shriner’s Hospital for Children, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Societies and other local charities.

If you love pancakes, today is the day to “batter it up” for the kids.  All over the nation and right here in Athens, people are lined up for some free flapjacks.  Grady Newsource’s Adeline Kenerly is headed to local IHOPs this morning.
