New CIRT Technology in Terry College of Business Makes Recycling Easier

CIRT, which stands for Can I Recycle This, is a women-owned business that aims to promote the use of more sustainable packaging and willingness to recycle by making recycling information more accessible to manufacturers and consumers. CIRT technology has been implemented across UGA’s campus and was most recently added to the Terry College of Business.

The signage, and the QR codes and all of this technology put together helps to inform people where to actually put their waste,” said Caitlin Noble, a UGA office of sustainability intern.
