Gore, ghosts and history, oh my! The University of Georgia’s Student Alumni Association is hosting its annual Nightmare on Broad Street Ghost Tour on UGA’s North Campus.
Attendees partake in a hour-long haunted tour throughout the historical university’s North Campus. The tour begins and ends at the Arch in downtown Athens. Stories heard throughout the tour range from the history of certain buildings on campus to paranormal activities that occur in some of the older sorority houses off-campus.
If you want to learn more about the haunted inner workings of nation’s oldest state university, then catch their final tours tonight, Oct. 21. The first tour begins at 8 p.m. and the final tour will leave at 10 p.m. These tours are open to the public and are free, however attendees are encouraged to bring canned goods to donate to SAA‘s food drive which supports the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia.
