Nominations Open For Fulfilling The Dream Award Honoring MLK

Athens, GA-   The Office of Institutional Diversity is seeking nominations for the President’s Fulfilling the Dream Award. This award recognizes individuals in the University of Georgia and Athens-Clarke community who are making Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream a reality. Those nominated should be people who have made significant contributions to social justice, race relations, justice or human rights. Nominations forms are available at http://t.uga.edu/Vv or by contacting UGA’s Office of Institutional Diversity by email diverse@uga.edu, phone 706-583-8195, or fax 706-583-8199. Printed nominations can be sent to UGA’s Office of Institutional Diversity.

The recipients of this award will be recognized at the annual MLK Freedom Breakfast on Jan. 23 at UGA. The tickets for the MLK Freedom Breakfast go on sale on Oct. 1 and can be purchased at diversity.uga.edu, or by contacting the Office of Institutional Diversity at 706-583-8195.
