Oglethorpe County Plans Community Listening Session

By Abby Jessen

What do you think about the Oglethorpe County School System? The Oglethorpe County Board of Education wants to find out and is holding a Community Listening Session from 6-8 p.m., Oct. 27, at Oglethorpe County Middle School. The public can voice their opinions on what is working as well as what needs to be improved at this session.

Georgia Leadership Institute for School Improvement and Georgia School Boards Association will facilitate the session. Superintendent Beverley Levine and board members will not be present to encourage candid comments. The session begins a six-year strategic planning process for Oglethorpe County.

The Board of Education welcomes all community input and encourages everyone to attend.
