On 01/29/2018, officers were dispatched to a residence on Sartian Dr., in reference to a person shot. When the police arrived, they located a white female, Jennifer Jacobs, 22-year-old of Athens deceased in her bedroom from a gunshot wound to her chest. There were two other individuals in the residence at the time of Ms. Jacobs’ death, including her boyfriend. Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this death investigation.
