Athens, GA | Nov. 17

Story Highlights

  • While University of Georgia running back Todd Gurley is resting  he’s going to be learning all about his ACL injury.
  • A torn ACL could take up to 6 months to rehab and recover.
  • What can athletes expect while in rehab for this injury?

For a professional athlete like Todd Gurley, he could be back playing his sport in nine months.

Athletes will go to rehab everyday and the average person with the same injury will probably see a physical therapist three times a week.

A torn A-C-L could take up to six months to rehab and recover from. Repacing an A-C-L is not necessary to walk but its crucial for knee stability and ful leg movements.
