The convention will host events throughout the weekend on topics like police accountability, voting rights, social justice and many other issues that people are discussing across the country.

Today, the First African Methodist Church is hosting a religious leaders roundtable to “explore the civil rights and social justice efforts within our respective work and broader questions of the responsibility of an Engaged Church.” Reverend William Flippin, Jr. will host this discussion at 2 p.m.
