Superior Court Tracker: ACC Judges to Hear Gang, Substance Abuse Cases

Clarke_County_Courthouse,_Athens,_GAAthens Clarke County Superior Court Judge Patrick Haggard oversaw several cases Wednesday morning, mostly concerning probation violations and offenses related to substance abuse. Haggard is scheduled to weigh in on civil hearings this week as well.

Judge Lawton Stephens is scheduled to preside over 23 arraignments next week, one of which will be Tamara Lanorris Lowe, who is charged with 17 counts of various wrongdoings, including gang-related activity.

Judge David Sweat will hear both civil and criminal hearings next week, beginning first with civil hearings on April 12 and transitioning to criminal hearings April 14. Additionally, Sweat is scheduled to oversee the bond hearings of Gregory Wade, who is filing a motion for bond, and Daveon Antwon Cooper, who is charged with gang activity and waiting to have his bond amount set.
