18-year-old Tiffani Torres charged after threat posted to Web
Flowery Branch, Ga (Grady NewSource) – A Flowery Branch teenager has been charged after she posted a shooting threat against her school to the Internet Monday.
Tiffani Torres, 18, of Flowery Branch, was arrested at her home Tuesday morning after investigators tracked the post made on the social media site Instragram to her home.
“We were able to track her down through IP address to her computer,” says Sgt. Kiley Sargent of the Hall County Sheriff’s Office. “Ultimately it is a network address to your home that belongs to your computer.”
Torres will go before a judge Wednesday to be arraigned on one count of Disruption of a Public School.
