Transportation Bill

ATLANTA — You might soon be paying a higher tax on gasoline. The latest version of a transportation bill that was passed in the Georgia legislature and now sits on the Governor’s desk includes a $0.26 tax increase per gallon of gasoline and $0.29 for diesel. The bill aims to raise just short of $1 billion to improve Georgia roads. Governor Deal is expected to sign it into law
