House painter by day. Singer/songwriter by night.

Eli Cain is a Watkinsville, Georgia, local who spends a lot of time navigating the music industry as a small-town musician. As someone who prefers backroads over Broadway, Cain is dependent on live music and ticket sales to support his music career.

Watch Alice Warford’s story to learn more about how musicians like Cain have to work to bring live music to their communities.

Alice Warford is a senior journalism student at the University of Georgia.
