UGA Baseball Beats KSU, Moves on to South Carolina

The Georgia Bulldogs take on 13th ranked South Carolina Gamecocks in a three game series this weekend, after last nights game against The Kennesaw State Owls. The rain held off just enough yesterday to get some baseball action out on the diamond. After being rescheduled twice due to inclement weather, the Dawgs finally got to play the Owls.  The Dawgs took a 2-0 deficit early, but thanks to Catcher Zack Bowers and the rest of the team, the Dawgs finished with a 9-5 victory over the Owls.  Bowers was concerned with his hitting earlier on, but he is making a lot more contact and seeing the ball better.

The Dawgs left for Columbia this afternoon and Coach Stricklin says he wants perfection against the tough Gamecocks.
