UGA Baseball Edges Out Furman in 5-3 Win

The Georgia Bulldogs baseball team will try to add another W in the win column tonight after staging some late game magic last night against Furman to end its three-game losing streak.


Furman got an early jump on Georgia in the fourth inning, but the Bulldogs were able to answer with a run of their own in the fifth. Furman slid in two more runs to make the game 3-1 going into the bottom of the sixth. Georgia rallied with two outs to tie the game off with junior shortstop, Nick King’s two-run single. His hit tied the game. Georgia went on to win it 5-3 and are now 7-4 on its season.
