Donors lined the halls of Memorial Hall in hopes of changing lives this week at UGA’s Blood Battle.

The Red Cross took donations for three days this week with a 345 unit goal. In order to propel the drive, UGA’s Red Cross organization challenged Auburn to a battle.

Who bleeds deeper for their school?

As of Wednesday evening, Georgia collected 314 units. While this wasn’t it’s initial goal, each unit can change up to three lives which means that there could be 942 lives change.

As for Auburn, it started it’s drive yesterday so a count won’t be in until the drive is finished. It should be noted that Auburn beat Georgia in the drive last year. But if it’s anything like football, Georgia might have this one in the bag.
