UPDATE: Missing UGA Student Found Dead

The University of Georgia Police Department reports that missing University of Georgia graduate student, Lei Wang, was found dead.  At 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, he was found in the wooded area near the river off College Station Road.

The UGA Police Department reports that “the manner of death was self-inflicted and there are no indications of foul play.”

The 35 year-old international student was reported as missing after he failed to come to a pre-scheduled meeting late Monday afternoon. Wang was a graduate student at the UGA department of Infectious Diseases.
