USA Today’s Dan Wolken Talks About Mark Richt’s Struggles

It has been almost 10 years since Georgia head coach Mark Richt has won a SEC Championship. In his 15 years at Georgia he has yet to win a national championship, meanwhile four other SEC schools have won national championships in that time.

Following Georgia’s 38-10 loss to Alabama, Georgia’s third consecutive loss to Nick Saban, Richt’s ability as a coach has come into question yet again.

USA Today’s Dan Wolken, who wrote a lengthy story on Georgia’s shortcomings in the Richt era, spoke with reporter Sammy O’Brien about why Georgia has continued to come up small against the top schools in the SEC.
