Why Don’t You Know This? UGA Students Showcase Knowledge of Government

Students at The University of Georgia put the Annenberg survey to the test to see how much they know, or should know, about their government.

 Why It’s Newsworthy: The 2018 midterm election takes place on Nov. 6. Thomas Jefferson, one of the founding fathers of the United States of America, said, “An educated citizenry is a vital requisite for our survival as a free people.” A 2016 survey indicates many Americans are poorly informed about basic constitutional provisions.
