4 Tips for Dog Owners During the Winter

If you want to keep your dogs safe and happy during the cold weather there are four things you can do for your four legged friend.

1.) If you have a smaller dog or pet they are more susceptible to the cold weather so keep them inside if at all possible.

2.) Dogs that are strictly outdoors need fresh water and a place where they can avoid the wind and other effects of winter weather.

3.) If you walk your dog on the streets or driveways that have been salted, make sure you wash their paws to prevent aggravation of their pads.

4.) Dogs that lick the salt on the roads can become nauseous if they eat a lot of it, so make sure you watch them if you plan on going on a walk.
